May 18th -- FOC_U day of posting support

So. I'm posting in support of Fen Of Color United today, in the role of a white fan who seriously wants to see more respect for people of different racial and ethnic backgrounds in the geeky and genre media that I know and, mostly, love. It's not about political correctness and silencing free speech, it's about welcoming more voices and listening to more points of view. That's not stifling, it's, I don't know, blossoming.
I wanted to keep this short in the service of it Not Being About Me. But if anybody wants to see me ranting and raving about this sort of thing, check out the massive flamewar I started on RPGnet! I swear I was not trolling on purpose, I was just kind of "wtf!" and wanted to share.
Title: "The Only Thing That Works For Me"
Fandom: Metanoia -- an online manga by Chartreuse and Rah. Go read it, it's fantastic.
Pairing: Zander/Star
Rating: PG-13 because, um, it is songfic for "Closer" by NIN. So language. Obviously.
Summary: Music: Zander's anti-drug.
AN: for the comment_fic theme "sensations," and
merry_gentry's prompt "beat of the music." I was super intimidated to write for her because her slash fics are so insanely hot and I actually get shy writing erotic stuff. Especially something like this that's very much my own weird definition of erotic.
